Fed up

Do you ever get that feeling
When you just can't carry on
And you really don't remember
The good reasons why you should.
All you want to do now
Is simply give up
And you're asking the question
Why do I bother?
Life is getting you down
And you don't know what to do
Coz right now you're feeling sad
And there is nobody to turn to.
You're sat right there surrounded
Surrounded by people that love you
But no matter how hard you try
The words just won't come out
You don't know how to explain
And you're scared they won't understand
Day by day you sit there
A fake smile upon your face
And no one ever notices
And you feel like a nothing
So you ask yourself again
Why do I bother?
And you smile and pretend
While inside you are dying
and as much as you love them
And as much as they love you
You know it will never change
Your smile can never fade.
