Consanguinity

"I love you mom"
Speaking out these words I don't know why
My lips tremble and I cry
Maybe it is because...(we'll have to part someday)
Mom, I fear to die
However, with you beside me
Death would be as sweet as honey
I can't live alone, I need you mom
And I hope you need me too.
For all the troubles I've given
Even if you discard me
I'll always be there for you.

I still remember, those brooms,
Those sticks you broke, beating me.
I'd cried then, cried till my heart ached...
Till I started to love the pains you gave me.

Let me once again rest in that cozy lap of yours
Drowned in the abyss of tranquility
With heaven itself there,
I wouldn't care for time or years;
Let me die dreaming there
While you sing to me a lullaby
And with that inexpressible smile say-
"Son, I love you too."
