Walk With Me One Last Time

by Arun Khan   May 24, 2007

Prologue:
Hold on tight, look away if you want, just hold on.
We're going to walk through dark places.. But I think I know the way.

Come take my hand
for a while lets stop the hour glass sand.
look into these shadows
feel your body flinch
as your veins narrow.
don't think about Time,
in here there is no tomorrow.
in here Time is replaced by sorrow.
shh don't say a word
we don't want to be heard.
In here the sun strikes
but not the day
don't listen
whispers betray
the girl over there sits alone
but don't care, because in here
they all the same misery share.
stay way from the boy who crawls.
screeching his fingers against the walls
shh - quiet lets hurry.
his voice echoes when it calls.
close your eyes.
don't look at the razor blades.
step carefully, blood flows in different shades.

- Here we are,
we made it through
who knows
when I'll again walk with you.

I like it, it's dark and describes that place that everyone have to walk through at least once in a lifetime. 5/5
