Infected

by Miss Megan   May 24, 2007

I'm eroding inside out,
Splitting at the seams.
Fighting back the tears,
Choking on the screams.
And do you see me fall apart?
Go ahead and walk away.

Cuts deep to the bone,
Blood dripping from my wrist.
Drinking in all your poison,
I'm addicted to this virus.
And the voices are shouting at me,
Telling me I'm through.
Infected from head to toe,
This time the blame's on you.

Emptiness smothering me slowly,
Suffocating me near and far.
Pain's all I've ever felt,
Leaving me torn and scarred.

I'm broken to little pieces,
With no one to catch my fall.
Am I too lost to save?
Still I hold no hope at all.

Cuts deep to the bone,
Blood dripping from my wrist.
Drinking in all your poison,
I'm addicted to this virus.
And the voices are shouting at me,
Telling me I'm through.
Infected from head to toe,
This time the blame's on you.

Cuts deep to the bone,
Blood dripping from my wrist.
Drinking in all your poison,
I'm addicted to this virus.
And the voices are shouting at me,
Telling me I'm through.
Infected from head to toe,
This time the blame's on you.

And do you see me fall apart?
Go ahead and walk away.
