Stained

by Miss Megan   May 24, 2007

You've left me hollow,
Empty outside in.
Dreading each tomorrow,
Let the games begin.
And with your life in my hands,
Do you trust me to succeed?

The bodies piled up,
Blood dripping down the wall.
Scars still remaining,
I love to watch you fall.
A stain for the reminder,
A stain I cannot clean.
My list keeps shortening,
Now do you trust me?

Bruises faded yellow,
Scabs still unhealed.
Lost amongst the crowd,
I'm unsure of how to feel.

Numb to this life,
My knife in my hand.
I'd love to explain,
But you'd never understand.

The bodies piled up,
Blood dripping down the wall.
Scars still remaining,
I love to watch you fall.
A stain for the reminder,
A stain I cannot clean.
My list keeps shortening,
Now do you trust me?

The bodies piled up,
Blood dripping down the wall.
Scars still remaining,
I love to watch you fall.
A stain for the reminder,
A stain I cannot clean.
My list keeps shortening,
Now do you trust me?

And with your life in my hands,
Do you trust me to succeed?
