Dearest Heart: Part 4

by xPerfect Chaosx   May 24, 2007

---- STOP ---- if you have not read the first three parts, please go back and read them now!! Thank you!!

Dearest Mind,

Well then it is my regret to inform you that I cannot stop this pain. If I could, I would. You can't understand me I'm sorry to say. You are to cold and analytical to understand passion and irrelevance. You don't understand half of what He did to me. You, however, are the foolish one. What kind of life is led without a little risk?? It was not foolish of me and you know deep down She was tired of listening to your cold calculating way of thinking.

Sincerely,
The Heart

Thank you for reading, and I hoped you enjoyed it!!

My apologies for posting twice. But I meant to say "who's" instead of "whose". Thanks. :)

"You are [too] cold and analytical to understand passion and irrelevance."

I absolutely adore that statement. It's quite true. The objective mind can never understand the subjective mind, unless both of them unite and work together as a team. I love it!

"You, however, are the foolish one."

Ooh. That line simply creates tension. For such a short statement, it holds so much powerful emotion and strength in its [tone of] voice. She wouldn't yield to the mind's wishes then, eh? Interesting... I'll be looking forward for the next part then.

"...and you know deep down She was tired of listening to your cold calculating way of thinking."

I, too, like Kitty, am confused with the true identity of "She"! But then again, when I reread that portion, I realized then that you meant to speak of the person whose confused inside! The one who possesses the Mind and the Heart! Haha. Wonderful write, as always, m'dear. XD Debbie

Very nice once again...though the formal style is beginning to create problems...makes it feel like there is a bit of a wall, yet it also creates another level of connection between the two...odd...
