In My Bed

by Jerrica   May 24, 2007

I lay here in my bed.
It's quiet and still.
I am thinking of you.
I am thinking of what you said.
Of what you did.
How could I let you?
Why didn't I stop you?
I lay here in my bed.
I am praying aloud.
Can you hear me?
If I told you in person,
Would you see me?
Would you still want to be near me?
I lay here in bed.
I think of all the times we,
Cried,
Laughed,
Talked.
Was it all fake?
I lay here in bed.
Why can't I get you out of my head?
Why did you say what you said?
I can't eat, breath, sleep,
Without stressing.
I can't do this anymore.
My heart you keep messing.
When I think about it,
All I see is RED!
As I lay here,
Awake,
Hurt,
Praying,
In my bed.
