My life, My hate, My Beast

by ScarletDeLoup   May 24, 2007

Beneath all the stars,
And the silver moonlight.
I've hidden my scars,
From everyone's sight.

All that they see,
Is a girl that is weak.
But inside is her beast,
And their blood she does seek.

The beast is pacing back and forth,
She's angered by the pain.
The scent of blood intoxicating,
And the beast is barely tamed.

The rising of the full moon,
And everything gets worse.
I feel as though I snap soon,,
And give in to my curse.

With people all around her,
Blood flowing through their veins.
Their warm flesh surrounds her,
It's driving them insane.

Even though I feel like killing,
I keep the beast contained.
The hunger always growing,
And the beast fights to be freed.
