Love or Friendship

by kitkat girl   May 24, 2007

He tilts his head, her mind runs empty, a moment and she turns away, her thoughts come back, betrayal they say, closing her palms and beginning to pray.

He leans in closer, opens deep blue eyes, knowing not that he's crossing the enemy lines.

One final Hail Mary, and he leaves her confused, she looks to the heavens, not knowing what to do.

The sky holds nothing, but a picture perfect day, smirking down at her as she must choice, which side to disobey.

He tries to moving his finger, gentle, through her long, blond hair, but she slaps him straight a cross his face and turns to run away.

He grabs her by the shoulder, to face his broken face, seeing the bruise she left upon his his cheek, and loving soul.

He punches her across the cheek, so that they both would match, he told the girl she was a h___ and liked her friend the best.

She ran away, to hallow to cry, and so she would always be, tears were for those who loved, with souls that didn't bleed.

Wonderful imagery here! It was almost tlike a little sad love story, especially with the way it was structured. The well expressed emotion made for a very powerful write. 5/5
