Phantoms drift

by resisting reason   May 24, 2007

Shadows flow like phantoms in the wake of a dream
floating along in a life where nothing is as it seems
phantoms drift
quietly and calm and in slow motion
totally peaceful with no emotion
the flow is smooth and unbroken
the soul is soothed in the tides of the the ocean
when phantoms drift
but there are waves that break and crash
somethings just weren't meant to last
so when they are thrown from the sea
and woken from their sweetest dream
they wait for someone who can walk on water
