Cycle of Hate

by XXTruthSeekerXX   May 25, 2007

One strike, one blow
One cascading hand.
Like hands of clocks
spinning
around and around,
till glass shatters
and metal rusts.

Bowing to no one
For bow is a sin,
Too below for pride
Too high for peace
Resenting screams
sketching out pain
Till carvings form
within your own soul

A string of fists...
Dominos
One fall, then again.
Into a pit
So deep and black,
No voice is heard
but the agony
Writhing as hate

Love may have been
Raw and good,
But one lifted finger,
One tyrant roar,
Watch love break
And hate set in
Watch the cycle
Which shows no end,
Watch the cycle
Where truth lays dead

Great poem. That is the dark side of life for you. I think that it was good that someone desided to write about it. I gave it a 5/5.

First, this piece is excellent! :)

I wonder though, why you titled your request thread "I Ask For No More then For Someone to Understand My Poem." I saw in it meaning I felt fairly confident I was interpreting correctly. If you like, I'd be happy to discuss this with you at length, to see how well I registered your meaning.

This poem reflects my theory of the time it takes for creation to reach a certain level of perfection, or if you will the light of truth dispersing the darkness in a heavenly harmony through the acceptance of Love and rejection of hate great poem
