Disapearing act II, the return

by lost   May 25, 2007

So three months later and it's the last day of summer
The boy's on his way home now
He's finally going to talk to his friends again
He had a long time to think about what to do
And he's sure his life has made a turn around

He pulls in the driveway
His mom throws him his phone
He immediately dials her number
Can't wait to see how she is
She picks up the phone, "hello"
Hey it's me how are you?
I don't want to talk to you
ok so maybe shes just having a bad day

He calls everyone but they all say the same
Somethings happened and he can't figure it out
Why are they so mad at him
All he did was take a break
He went to his room and went to bed

The next day he woke up and went to school
Now no one even looked at him
And if they did it certainly wasn't a smile
He saw her and asked her to explain
She said that he'd abandoned them
So they'd forgotten about him

When they'd heard he was coming back
They all got together and had a little meeting
They'd decided they didn't want him as a friend
His plan had backfired completely
All he wanted was to fix things
But in the end he'd made them worse
He'd forgotten that they did care about him
And having to lose contact for three months
Meant the end of all their friendships

He wishes now he hadn't done that
Because now he's lost in darkness
He can't find a way out
Everyones abandoned him
He has no clue what to do...

This is my story, except it hasn't happened yet
I've made the plan, I've told a few, but I haven't left yet
I still have one more day left before I do
And I'm already starting to regret
This poem/story is what I think is going to happen
I just hope I make it through ok.....
