Terribly Insecure 2 {Rewritten}

by Run out of words   May 25, 2007

Sheâ??s sitting in a corner,
Hands on her face.
Holding all her tears,
Hiding all disgrace.

Sheâ??s sitting in a corner,
Cursing what they did.
Who knows what sheâ??d do,
To have those memories rid.

Sheâ??s sitting in a corner,
With no more faith inside.
Inside that body only lays,
A soul who was taught to hide.

Sheâ??s sitting in a corner,
With flashbacks racing through her head.
Disappointment, disappointment,
Thatâ??s all that they had said.

Sheâ??s sitting in a corner,
All alone and scared.
Since that gloomy day,
She hasnâ??t smiledâ?¦for she hasnâ??t dared.

Sheâ??s only a child,
How much more should she endure?
Sheâ??s got a family,
But yet sheâ??s terribly insecure.

**I wrote this poem again...because the first one I wrote wasn't good. But this wasn't good enough for the contest I felt...because everyone on their was soo good. I didn't feel very good about that..I mean yeah there is always competition...but I didn't stand a chance. I couldn't write up to my usual expectations...let's hope i'm not headed for a writers block..that would totally suck...well thx and comment!!***
