Let go

by Arun Khan   May 25, 2007

The cold wind blows
hush now, this is how the story goes
I started as a child
time passed and things went wild.
In my darkest hour,
her eyes to see, is what I need
god knows,
never thought, this is how much I'd bleed
I stand on the balcony
watching the world I conquered with its nostalgia
the bright lights fade.
so alone, tired of my masquerade
Life might have been different,
maybe she would've stayed?
I didn't need her then,
I don't need them now
all I wanted was everything,
no matter how
Let me die, let me cry, let me lie.
I'll be alone every night.
Sell my soul, but I'll succeed.
And I made it,
had the world
I betrayed it.
I close my window,
the rain falls so slow.
Stop take a drink.
I wont let my heart sink.
my tears fall deeply heavy so
Let go
my endless river will flow
Just let Go.
