Lover's prayer

Dear lord
i pray to you every night
hoping that you'll send me someone from above,
to cure the pain and suffering, that leaves a stone in my heart.

only you know how much i've cried
and only you can save my heart from the pain and misery that the world has put upon me.

please god help me do right
please help me be more like you,
because your way is the only way to live.

please make the world see,
just how happy you want us to be

    Its a good peom, but i think it may be in the wrong place. I like how it is a prayer, read it and i can imagine. Being on your knees, on a dark night and asking for answers. Its really good keep it up.
