A Hundred Million Tomorrows

by Mo   May 25, 2007

I could chase the world around
Just searching for the scent you throw
I would offer my heart to be bound
To you and your opaque shadow
I would sacrifice it all, for a simple promise
...that of a hundred million tomorrows

I forget who I am when Im with you
My face and heart and eyes aglow
and I loose myself in your eyes of blue
of the deep deep sea to which I throw
myself to drift thru weightlessness
... for a hundred million tomorrows

I would have to take my final breath
before I could let you go
I would die a hundred million deaths
of pain and torture and sorrow
to spend that one moment just with you
... for a hundred million tomorrows

The moment comes and then its gone
and my time that I have borrowed
Has been used up and now my pawn
has made me the one that owes
The gods of time a hefty debt
... for a hundred million tomorrows
