Love at sea

by Denise Smith   May 25, 2007

Three ships at sea
Ruff tides to sail thru
Not all will survive the storm

Three hearts intertwined
Emotions uncertain
Not all will survive this love

One ship left behind
Left to make it on its own
But waves tore it apart

One heart left out
She lost his love
Devastation was abound

Two ships at bay
Now safe and sound
They set sail upon the dawn of a new day

Two hearts collide
Emotions blossom
True love can now begin

Their journey uncertain
Their trip an expedition
New waters for the two of them to wade

There love is a journey
A journey to the unknown
Two hearts together, one love that grows

Thank you for the complement...I hope to not be the ship left at sea. Time remains to be seen.
