Candle so black

by StonedGooberz   May 25, 2007

Candle so black
that my flame becomes dark
my soul begins to die
without some kind of show able mark.

My heart bleeds red
for the love i miss
on my knee's i plead
for the spell bounding kiss

am i going to die?
so long i have waited for the end
my heart is breaking
with no ability to mend.

Am I already dead?
i hear no heartbeat
i can barely breathe
in this air of deceit.

she loves me
she loves me not
staring down the barrel
but did not hear the gunshot.

Great job on your poem. very deep and intense.

    Am I already dead?
    i hear no heartbeat
    i can barely breathe
    in this air of deceit.

    This stanza really is heartfelt.
