taking in what is best

Moving on to what is new
Forgetting that I'm in love with you
Not remembering all the bad
Still missing the good times we had

Forgetting the ones we break
Holding in all that we can take
Still wanting so much more
The sweet love you cherish to adore

Too Many tears we cry
Nothing left; completely dry
Hurting the ones we say we love
Not forgetting the ones above

Putting us down; make us feel weak
We become stronger and we speak
Letting all of our confidence grow
Fragile words that certainly show

No longer put in a lower place
Hurting when we see your face
Our crucial pain remains still
Pain We wish you could feel

Knowing that I'm not the only one
Noticing the things you've done
Tearing so many people apart
Breaking those with a delicate heart

And we thank you for now we're stronger
This painful feeling that Is no longer
Needed; To figure out why
Every night that was meant to cry
