How A Resurrection Really Feels.

by xTheEcstasyOfSuicidex   May 25, 2007

Burning a cross in the forgotten fields,
Feel the fire across your eyes.
Harsh heat scars into your skin,
Burning within every new lie.

Field set ablaze on a horrific night;
Twas so bright you couldn't see the moon.
This is Jesus's tomb where he was resurrected;
I wonder how it feel to be forgotten this soon.

Losing something so precious to you,
You're own place is gone and there's nothing you can do,
You may be God, but you can't interfere with life,
Until, that is, the end of the world comes on cue.

Maybe this is how it must feel,
With tears streaming down His face.
His children have betrayed him again,
And left the holy scene in haste.

Field set ablaze on a horrific night;
Twas so bright you couldn't see the moon.
This is Jesus's tomb where he was resurrected;
I wonder how it feel to be forgotten this soon.
