You Think

by kate   May 26, 2007

You think of hurt that they say
That you must pay
¢??No pain, no gain¢??
No gain, all pain

You think of suicide
You think of homicide
You think of all the cides
Yet just your side

You think of passionate hearts
That were pulled apart
By anger and hate
And so-called fate

You think of innocence lost
And young lives cost
And sins unspoken
Of small families broken

You think of suicide
You think of homicide
You think of all the cides
Yet just your side

You think of the dirt and the mud
You must mix with your blood
To let life win the war
That you never called for

You think of life¢??s tragedies
Caused by your inabilities
To see to the faraway light
That just fell out of your sight

You think of suicide
You think of homicide
You think of all the cides
Yet just your side

You think of her hurt and his scars
For maybe one or two dollars
They scrape up in a day
Just to spend it away

You think of killing yourself
So you¢??ll end up in hell
A place you¢??re already in
Because all life¢??s a sin

You think of suicide
You think of homicide
You think of all the cides
Yet just your side

Your dying side

Thanx for you comments on my poem 'your talk of suicide'. It is quite similar to this one, as you said.
    Excellent job wording and form.
