When All The World Is Asleep

by Mousie   May 26, 2007

Strong, confident
Overwhelming through the day.
Personality streaming out.
Persona of happiness.
Glow of a princess.
Smile masks the anger.
The fear.
The extreme grief.
No one sees her weakness
It is not who she is.

Midnight.
No lights on in the house.
No life.
Moonlight.
The only light
Streams through an uncurtained window
Strikes a teardrop
Rolls down her face.
Break down
Show your weakness
Let your guard down
When all the world is asleep
And no one will ever know
You're not so
Strong, confident.

i started saying something to ross and it sounded really good for a poem, FINALLY some inspiration! i don't know, there's like no rhyme scheme or meter or anything, i hope it's ok.
