Always watching over

I know i didn't know you for long
but we shared some fun times
as our friendship came along
you were so happy to see us you eyes lit up like golden dimes

you welcomed me with all your heart
you couldn't wait for our wedding day
you could see how happy we are never to fall apart
you told us about all your history you had a lot to say
which we will pass down to our kids one day

you came over for Christmas and you loved my snowman so we brought you one too
it went everywhere you went
you loved the way it would smile at you
it held joy for you

i know now you are watching over
your with us all the time
your telling us that the pain is over
that you will be fine

you brought so much laugher to the family and fun
you will be missed by everyone
just wanted to say thank you for the time we had
now its time to remember all the good times we had
