If this life of mine
Should prove to fail
I'll try my best to steer away from this fate
To this destiny I shalt not prevail.

As long as the stars shalt still shine
As bright as suns in the sky
Or the light of a lighthouse
Or a twinkle in your eye.

At least I'll know the life I lived
'Twas nothing worse but sweet
To fail but still live
Doth not admit defeat.

And so I'll wait for this failure
As it catches up to me
Me, it may threaten coldly
But my life it will let be.
