Second to Minute to Hour.

by Rahlan Kodai Ensk   May 26, 2007

A day must go go by, before my time with you draws open.
Watching the clock, counting the hours.
To help the time, dream of you.
The dreams, lacking. The time, an hour.
Watching the clock, counting the minutes.
The time a snail, edging by.
Go running in the sun, pale without your smile.
Run far, run fast. Tire and return.
Rest and watch the clock.
Counting the seconds.
Turn on TV, to take eyes from the clock.
Find movies of love, turn off TV.
Counting the minutes.
Take a nap, wake without you.
Smile when I imagine you there.
Counting the hours.
Watch the sunset.
Know it goes to grace your life.
Counting the minutes.
Bask in the moonlight.
Feel your love and touch.
Counting the seconds.
Not long now...
