Above the trees, Below the sky

by Painted By Colors llInLovell   May 26, 2007

Spreading wide open
To greet the gentle breeze
The Dawn of another Day
Another day to dream.
Lifting up, and gliding above
Beautiful mysteries, in this creature's eyes.
People stop to look
and may get far too close
This creature is a delicate one
Not quite to be touched.
So many colors, and eyes of cold steel
Oh how its so relaxing
when a bird chirps in a tree.
We wonder where they're off to
Or how we wish we could fly with them.
The birds, they fly, they glide, they float
Above the trees, the people, the land,
And below the sky, and below heaven.
