She only had one nite

So many lies and cheating,
long nites with tears in her eyes from the beatings,
she wanted to give up and walk away,
but there was something about him that made her stay,
every minute of the week they were together,
she made him promise to be there forever,
as the days went by the nite got long,
hopeless events like you hear in a sad song,
she never gave up cuz she believed he cared,
she wanted so bad for him to remember the memories they shared,
PSP and shooting pool,
walks through the park and rides to school,
songs bumpin in the car,
laying in the grass wishing apon a star,
looking into two beautiful eyes,
wondering if he know everynite she crys,
the tears will dry and the bruises will fade,
but she'll never forgive him for the mistake he made,
"if you dont do this i'll leave you forever,
meaning never again will we be together"
one nite to think it through,
after looking at his pictures,
she knew what she had to do,
"i have to do it today,
he said thats the only way he'll stay",
to the bedroom they went,
together no time they spent,
she asked if it would hurt,
as he ripped off her skirt,
"just for a minute then it will be done,
in the end youll realize its alot of fun",
but the pain never stopped,
he continued as her cherry popped,
that nite not only did he kill her pride,
but left her with so much pain inside,
20minutes later he took her to her house,
in the car it was silent as a mouse,
she got out of the car and began to walk away,
she turned around and looked at him with so many words wanting to say,
but she just kept walking,
because she knew there was no time left for talking,
as she walked in her door he fone began to ring,
when he calls a love song is what it will sing,
not a call but a text,
youll be surprised for whats next,
a smile came to her face,
then her heart began to race,
she was hopin it would say somthing great,
maybe something like a date,
but as she read the text her heart shattered,
broke,
like a dropped glass platter,
tears immeditally started to fall,
he walked away,
even after she gave him her all.

****she was only 13 when this happened she gave all her trust to one boy because she cared but when he betryed her she now know that it was a mistake. something like this is very hard for a girl that young but it makes you stronger you realize that kisses dnt always mean something promises are obviously broken often and sometimes goodbyes realy are forever.the reason i know that is because the girl in the poem is me. im now 15 and still to this day i get scared to look at him. Girls dnt be dumb and give it up like i did if he truly cares hell wait untill your ready even if it takes forever. and a true man would never hit a girl ever no matter what the situation*********
