Rainy Days

by Bradley Peter   May 26, 2007

Trickling water,
Down the glass,
Just watching as,
The hours pass,

Minutes they drift,
They last so long,
Ticking and tocking,
It plays it's song,

Hoping for sun,
Just a tiny glance,
To break you out,
Of this raindrop trance,

Playing puzzles,
And hating the day,
The TV is crap,
However you pray,

But it never does,
And the rain still pours,
Even harder perhaps,
As the sun, it soars

Day turns to night,
So happy it's past,
Rain's still going,
How long can it last?

Bedtime arrives,
Still, it goes strong,
Will it last forever?
I hope I'm wrong,

Awake the next day,
Sun hitting your face,
The rain's all gone,
With barely a trace.

Mow you see, I like this poem, Probably cos I was with you this day and can relate" aND YES, i AM SORRY FOR MAKING YOU PLAY SCRABBLE! However you did win and so did accomplish something this day although you told Alison you didn't! Mind you I don't blame you she was pissed when she asked you the question! There's only one fault I can find which is 'Why is itin the funny section?' I wouldn't have out it there. It is a hard poem to place but after careful consideraion I thought it should be in the nature section. However I do understand that no one reads the nature section!
    All my love
