Not Enough

I know my arms are far away,
But I'll try my best to hold you.
I'll keep you there, inside my heart
Until those sweet dreams find you.

Just rest your head and close your eyes,
I'll try to keep the warmth you lack
And in the morning, if you wake,
I hope those dreams can call you back.

My clock is ticking differently,
And my sun sets before yours will rise.
But distance and time can't change my heart,
If we're dreaming of eachother's arms.

I know there's more that I want to add to this, because it's not quite clear on what is going on...But I've been having a writers block with it for weeks, and I can't risk keeping it where my family can read it. (Yeah, I'm secretive like that.) So I'm saving it here... Any suggestions, if you can undersand it well enough, would be more than greatly appreciated. Writers block kills...
