Vagrant

by unknown   May 27, 2007

I'm a mediocre vagrant.

With a sense of direction
to be directionless.

Always taking the road most traveled
for unmarked signs of disaster.

Variance of scenery
but this gravel path
will always connect around the curve.

Of first to last then last to first
and around and about again.

I've not seen a corner in years
while tumbling away
in spheres.

A force to be reckoned with
the stench of these putrefied feet
masking the odor of my heart

Only a vagrant.
Compulsively Positionless.
Completely Directionless.
For a slight new view of life.

But always just forever mediocre.
