Darkness Loves Her

by DepthofPassion   May 27, 2007

Tears fill her once clear blue eyes; darkness loves her.
It dances with her as a lover would clinging to the hem of her dress
Which leaves sorrowful stains upon it.
Darkness whispers "sweet nothings" in her ear sending shivers down her spine.
It leaves the exotic perfume of poison on her pillow at night.
It fills her once playful eyes with fright.
Darkness loves her.

I love this poem so much.
It exceeds anything I've ever read of yours; it's powerful.

I usually hate non-rhyming poems, but hell, you pulled this off like no one could.

    Simply amazing, Brittany.
