I Just Can't Be You

by shadow   May 27, 2007

I can't be the image you make-believe
Nor can I uphold this facade you concieve
I try so hard to be my own person, my own soul
You think if you keep on pulling then maybe I will fall

I'm so tired of all the little games you play
So tired of the endless nights and stupid days
I wish you'd finally give up and just disappear
So your voice in my head will no longer be so clear

Oh how I wish I could get you out of my head
Over and over you scream you wish I was dead
You're breaking me down, isn't that what you need?
You tore out my heart and now you watch as I bleed
