It's safe

by I always end up killing myself in the end   May 27, 2007

A black room sits in silence
The walls, so cold, so bare
Alone, I sit on hardened ground,
Alone, I sit and stare.

A life so dim and pointless
Don't need a second glance
It's all the same its all downhill
Redemption isn't a choice.

I can't see a single thing
My eyes are shut so tight
No worries, though, its better dark
Than blinded by the light.

Won't let another soul in sight
There's no need for a door
It's safe this way, its better alone
Than hurting even more.

In this room, I'll live my life
Blind hope, it only dies
No added pain when you're alone
Living with closed eyes
