Time Passes By

by Zeus   May 27, 2007

Days go by in the blink of an eye
Weeks pass by yet but we don't feel
How we are growing up so fast
Life as we know it, seems so surreal

I remember girls once being "yucky"
I never used to worried about a girl
But now those feelings have rapidly change
And girls, to me, they mean the world

I used to let my feelings show
I would cry every time I fell
But now when I fall, i try to hide it
As if the pain was never dealt

I remember I once, was so naive
Now I'm experienced and no longer unaware
Everything around me is so apparent
And now I live life in fear, so scared

From not knowing a thing
To grasping the concept of death
From fearing monsters under the bed
To fearing for my last breath

I liked this piece it showed a lot of emotion the strucher was thought out very well I have only seen one thing that would improve this poem the line "I never used to worried about a girl" should be I never used to be worried about a girl.
