Holiday

by Allison   May 27, 2007

Tick Tock Tick Tock
All that fills my mind
Tick Tock Tick Tock
Erasing all my sanity

Minutes moving by like snails,
Teachers droning on and on,
Subjects no one cares about,
But only one more day.

Hours like a turtle crawl
Slowly to some pleasant point,
Crying tears of boredom felt,
Only one more class.

All test papers now turned in,
Crossing fingers, hope to pass,
Seconds left to face,
Then the school bell rings.

Silent halls now filled with noise,
Students running form the hell,
Breathing in the summer air,
Now on holiday!

I don't think that their is a greater feeling when your in school then hearing that final bell ring releasing you for the summer. To bad it never seems to last that long, always goes by way to fast. Excellent job 5/5

I'm homeschooled so I don't relate to this one, but I thought it was great!
