The Final Calamity: An Ode to North Yorkshire

by Duncan Cameron   May 27, 2007

We've been together since My pristine genesis,
All We've known was One Another,
But We must now part,
I must now leave;
Everything worked for,
Everything gained,
Everything lost...
And everything I am;
Snatched away by bedraggled, avaricious hands.
My most propitious life will end the day I leave You.
You have been my enamoured home and been a part of Me.
Whether it be running on Your shapely, carnal dales,
Or climbing in Your lush and sensuous foliage-
I've been a part of You,
And forever will be.
I love You and every single betrothed thing within.
Goodbye
And
Take Care,
My Love.
