Memorial Day to Him

I wish I could see you
I wish I could be with you
You died of Cancer
You left questions with out an awnser

I could have said good-bye
But instead I just let you die
I could have left you some last words
But I didn't want to see you cry

I want to give you a huge hug
And telling you whats going on
You've left this world
But to see you is what I long

You were such a great guy
You made me laugh instead of cry
I loved you with all my heart
I wish you wouldn't have died

But I can't take that back
And I look forward to seeing you
In heaven when I die
Until then I promise I won't mourn or cry

**Note: this is for memorial day. My grandpa died of cancer a few years ago and i miss him so much. I know he wouldn't have wanted me to feel sad for him because that wasn't his personality..(that's why i put that at the end). They're were so many more things i wanted to learn from him (he told the best stories from the past) that's what the questions left unawnsered was about. I just miss him and this is dedicated to him.
