You let your best friend down for the last time...
She lost the fight....she gave it up.
She's walking away now...best you say goodbye.

You cast her aside one time too often.
You let her down...you left her alone....

It was you who broke her spirits...you put her down when she was happy and proud

You walked away when you said you would come.
You left her when you promised to spend time with her.
You made everything more important than her.

Tell me girl did you really expect her to wait forever while you cast her aside. well she's only human...there was only so much rejection she could take from the girl who swore to always be there to be her best friend.

Hun you don't know what you've lost...you let go of the one girl who kept defending you when people spoke ill of you behind your back. You've just let her walk away in silence.

Because of you...her heart is cold....she's numb inside.
you were the one person left that she was counting on and you let her down you let her cry in the darkness. You hurt her...you've left her without a best friend.

don't expect her to call you anymore...don't expect to be going out for a night of fun on Fridays anymore...she'll find someone to replace you. in fact i think she has. so this really is goodbye girl.
