Just a dream world

Living in a dream world,
Of faith, honesty and trust.
Believing that true love is real,
But finding most of it only lust.

Living in a dream world,
Thinking everythings okay.
Believing that Ill be alright,
But finding it hard to face the day.

Living in a dream world,
Where people dont ever lie.
But when no ones around,
I let my guard down and I cry.

Living in a dream world,
Where people like me for me.
If thats true then why do I try so hard,
To be what everyone thinks I should be.

Holding on to people,
That only let me go.
I guess that in the end,
We always reap that which we sow.

They say timing is everything,
And that the strong will just get stronger.
I wish that I had a reason,
Just to hold on a little longer.
