The Fallen Angel

by ThreeSixtyChanges   May 28, 2007

The cause of misery can't be done
Cause my misery can't explain a Fallen Angel in front of my eyes
A curse lifted up high, my life is dancing on dark thoughts of stairs

There, a melody from a grand piano struck my heart silently

"A curse can't be paused" it says

Why are your wings broken?
Mystery of tears flowing down to earth
Cause misery, curse and pain cannot be mixed

Your pale face threatens my mind
Assassinating those cures of curses
There, yes there.........................
A pain that can't be mended
A shiver of lips everywhere you cry
Never less, those wings of hope
perish in front of your eyes

All the slain pictures of revelations
Are always there to haunt and company me

And what do i say?
"Cause misery, curse and pain cannot be mended"
"What is this: A Fallen Angel"

Great poem, excellently written, with strong imagery. I really enjoyed it. 5/5
