Letter to Heaven

by Never*gonna*make*it   May 28, 2007

I'm writing this letter to Heaven

Because I've got to speak with you.

There's things I never did

Things I never said to you.

I should have hugged you Grandma

Before I left that day.

Now I have a hole in my heart

And it will have to stay that way.

I hsould have stayed that night Grandpa

Instead of leaving and going home.

Now I sit here sad, cold, and all alone.

I saw the sunrise the morning you died Grandma

It was beautiful like you!

You never gave up one me

And you always saw me through.

You always had faith in me

And with your wisdom

I could be anything I wanted to be.

You never judged me based on my mistakes.

I should have thanked you before it was to late.

Grandpa, you taught me all I need to know.

How to care and how to give and how to use my love to grow.

Through me your lessons show.

I miss you two like crazy.

I wish you could come home.

But we all know that isn't going to happen,

But my love for both of you will continue to be shown.

I'm left with all these regrets that haunt me everyday.

Things I never got to do and words I never got to say.

My mistakes now number one hundred eleven.

And all I'm left with is this stupid Letter to Heaven.

---...Dedicated to my Grandma and Grandpa...---
