Country Comfort

Country Comfort

Honeysuckle on the vine
Drives to the county line
Sipping on homemade wine

There's big mouthed Bass
Beautiful stained glass
Soothing sound of blue-grass

A moonlight promenade
Sweet iced tea or lemonade
Listening to crickets serenade

It's simple as a front porch swing
Listening to the wind-chimes ring
Relaxing in the breeze of spring

Warm feel of a cotton T-shirt
Grandma's homemade dessert
I love this country comfort

Nice job on this piece. Brings back so many memories. Going and visiting my grandparents in West Virginia. When life was slower and people weren't in such a hurry.

Love this stana. Reminds me of swinging and listening to my grandpa's stories.

Delightfully charming. Shows we don't have to go looking for the good things in life, they are right there in front of us. We just have to appreciate them.
