The Day I Fell.

by Teria   May 28, 2007

Battled days have now passed by.
Causing the storms to selfishly cry.

Forever and day, somehow left me
all alone with the wrong kind of key.
The doors are barren, no kind of lock.
But, somehow they're frozen in shock.

No time in place could return the stolen,
you've taken a heart way too swollen.

No knight could put the pieces back together.
The shattered soul is stuck there forever.
An unmended life surely, is no life at all..
even with a man who pretends to take the fall.

The lies stay lies, becoming harder to believe.
And, the mind slowly shuts down unable to receive.

A million reasons for a yearning heart,
but only one reason to fall apart.
No time in place could return the stolen,
for.. The day I fell, I lost the swollen.
