Happy Fathers Day.

Happy Fathers Day.

One week in two years, millions and millions of tears.
And, what excuse it it this time? I've heard all the foolish lines.
How many fights, how much pain must I go through before you're driven insane?

It's already happened, happened to me. Can't you see?
I've forgiven you how many times? Oh, oh that foolish line..
" I love you; forgiveness is the key. I know you just can't see."

You can see the pain you give, the life that you continue to make me live.
A fatherless mind is taking control. " This time I'm on parole."
Parole for drunk driving, I bet. You've not kept a promise yet.

So, happy fathers day. I heard you tried to call today.
Sorry, I wasn't home. I was at grandpa's grave all alone.
Just waiting for you.. but, this promise didn't go through.

This is a fantastic piece, I loved how you wrote it like a story almost. The flow was awesome and so was the word choice. So many kids have to go through the same problems this poem talks about, a lot of dad's are losers I guess. Excellent job 5/5
