My eyes are wet
my hands all shaky
I'm staring at the wall
thinking maybe, just maybe
I can make it through it all
You stand there and yell
saying things like
"You're stupid, get out of this house"
I stare at you
and my eyes start to swell
I feel like a tiny mouse
helpless and unwell
I stand up
but you push me back down
i'm like a frightened child
when she sees a clown
I run for the door
and you try to hold me back
I turn around and scream
"stop hurting me, I can't take it anymore"
Then i open the door
and slam it with a loud crack
I put my hand in my pocket
pull out a clean silver knife
you pushed me too hard
yelled at me for the last time
Tonight's the night
That i'm going to end my life
I take out a pen
sign my goodbye card
and look into my best friend's yard
I think of everyone that I will miss
Into the envelope goes the card
and the note to my friends
part of it says
"I love you, stay strong, keep me in your memories to the end"
I close the envelope
seal it with a kiss
put it under a rock
and make my last wish
My wrists are cut
the blood is dripping
my memories flash by
as i'm slowly slipping
My eyes are wet my body's shaking
I look into the sky
knowing I will not be waking
The knife lay beside me
with the blade blood red
my body goes numb
and now i'm dead
