Rain On A Tin Roof.

by Teria   May 29, 2007

Rain On A Tin Roof.

While suited perfectly he made his way,
further from the dents of yesterday.

Silence filled the room as he arose to speak,
never in a million years would anyone think,
the brother of a sister would stand up to say,
" It didn't even have to end this way."

With piles of letters he took a nap,
holding his sisters softball cap.

He could smell her sweetness,
beginning to finally miss..
The times he had with her,
if only there were a cure.

The rain on a tin roof, he could hear.
And, out came the millionth and one tear.

He knew it was his sister, crying from above.
Suddenly, all he could continue to think of..
Was her shiny black hair, her tented bright smile..
and all the people that loved her in the letter pile.
