A Poem With a Beat

by david kessel   May 29, 2007

To make your poems neater,
They've got to have a meter,
With proper lilts and timings
And not just simple rhymings.

A poem with no beat,
Like burgers with no meat,
Just gets on people's nerves
And no good purpose serves.
