Silence in Sirens

by xoxShorteexox   May 29, 2007

There's a certain silence in sirens,
a silence that overwhelms the whole body.
When everything is at rest,
the sound of sirens comes.
The sirens leave a certain touch,
that imprint silence in your head.
When you think you're alone,
the sirens rush to past your body.
Leaving that silence in your head,
with nothing left but the siren's silence.
That's sirens leave a seldom silence,
where your loneliness seems to become clear.
As the sirens echo past your room,
your heart finds a sense of silent simplicity.
The echos of sirens fill your head,
to the silence you've always wanted to find.
You start to slip away,
and those sirens are the last silence you remember.
The last noise you hear,
is that silence in those sirens.
