B*est F*riends F*orever

by Lydia   May 29, 2007

I met you in my fifth year,
We didn't get along.
You always tried to pull my hair,
I told when you were wrong.

You didn't seem to like me,
But I had to have a friend.
And so one day I told you,
We'd be friends until the end.

Now we've gotten older,
As tight as we could be.
And though life's gotten colder,
It's still just you and me.

I know I've kept things from you,
You've had your secrets too,
But in the end you've been there,
Even when I came unglued.

And since you've been there for me,
Know I will have your back.
I'll never take your glory,
And if I do, I'll give it back.

So just to let you know,
I'm glad that we are friends,
Just look at how we've grown,
Friends forever 'til the end.
