Slow tear

by the pale queen of the silent night   May 29, 2007

The time your heart was broken
and in the silence of the night
you thought yourself friendless and alone
I, like a withered rose upon
a land of thorns, took great pain with my heart shattering
to put thy feeling into words
so you may recall that you are not alone
when your precious tear feel down your cheek
and you hand was cold from all comfort
i upon choice stayed up all night praying to whatever mean
to bring you comfort and to take
those cold hand of yours in thine
so you know i will be forever true

I cried, I broke inside
yet i dared not to tell you of it
for i feared to poison your thoughts with thy uneasiness.
but cruel fate and life injustice
did show me your true nature
such a ill fate i have
when your eyes caste its rays on another soul and beauty
therefore another closer friendship was permitted
how i got lost in your many dark night
that my very soul has dressed in that velvet black dress that i can no longer brake from.

it is destiny that i shall for ever be alone for now i abhor thy life and of friendship i have no truest
i see my life slipping by and my youth awed to rage
my shallow eyes lies in a pool of tears
and thy fragile heart fragmented
yet you are not there to lit that candle of hope
or say a word to bring back the lost smile
or reach and wipe those tears away.
